B is for Bravery
We become braver by stepping outside our comfort zone and valuing the experience. At work, individuals and teams need to be encouraged to take risks in order to increase their likelihood of success. Kathy motivates people to act not just dream.
Being proactive and making your own luck are hallmarks of Kathy’s approach to achieving victory. Kathy says “If we hide our dreams from people, if we aren’t brave enough to fight our corner when people scoff, our focus and drive will be diminished, and our dreams will remain just that – dreams”.
Kathy encourages us to turn obstacles into stepping stones, and to concentrate on the positives which can be drawn from our circumstances.
Victory is achieved by those who are willing to get up one more time than they fall down.
